Parvati Music Project/ dbase is an Ensemble of Acoustic and Electronic
musicians and D.J.s blending guitars with drum machines and Synthesizers
with precussions. Bringing together musicians from India, they explore new
dimensions of sounds - “Arcing and hissing with electricity, our music can
sound smooth and jazzy or hyperindustrial as a test tube full of bottled
lightning”.
Their set take-off with mild jazz and funk beats topped up with live jazz guitar which later leads on to more groovier Break-beats with flavours of India, Latin, Funk that have influenced the Parvati gang along their musical quest. Driving the crowd mad by mixing in original tracks performed live with acoustic musicians and D.J.s. Parvati Music Project is currently working on 2 album projects in Delhi and Goa.
